Lindsay Harris, LCSW (she/her)

My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where you feel truly known, valued, and understood. This is your space to be fully yourself—no filters, no pretenses. Whether that means dropping an f-bomb, shedding tears, or showing up with all parts of your personality, I’m here for it.

In therapy, it's important to express yourself in whatever way feels right for you. Authenticity is key, and I want you to feel safe to bring your whole self into the room, knowing that you’ll be met with empathy and support, no matter what.

I believe that true healing begins by meeting you exactly where you are. By understanding your unique experiences and emotional needs, we can create a path forward that fosters connection, growth, and meaningful change.

About Me

From an early age, I was drawn to fostering authentic connection with others. As a young girl and teen, nothing filled my cup more than sharing meaningful moments with the people I cared about. I’ve always been deeply curious about others’ lives and compassionate toward the pain that’s a natural part of the human experience. These innate qualities guided me toward a career in social work—one that has been incredibly fulfilling over the past two decades.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including an all-girls alternative school, grief counseling with hospice, adoption and foster care, and the public school system. Each of these experiences have shaped me and deepened my understanding of the human experience. For the past five years, I’ve transitioned into clinical work within private practice, which has been both an exciting and humbling experience. I don’t take it lightly when clients entrust me with their most vulnerable moments, and I am continually in awe of their courage to face trauma, work through pain, and remain open to change. This process truly lights me up and fills my soul in the same way the deep connections I’ve always valued do.

As a therapist, I believe in practicing what I preach—so yes, I’m in therapy myself! After all, even therapists need someone to help us untangle our own stuff. It’s all part of staying human, grounded, and ready to show up fully for you!

My Approach to Therapy
I take an integrated approach to therapy, tailoring interventions to best fit your unique needs. My clinical training includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Brainspotting, and Somatic/Polyvagal Therapy. Although I rely on my training in these modalities, I believe that you are the expert of your own life. In therapy, my role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support as you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. You have the power to shape the direction of our work together, and you always have a say in what you want to achieve from our sessions. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or new ways of thinking and being, I’m here to listen, collaborate, dig deep, and help you discover the path that best serves you.

Outside of Therapy
When I’m not in my therapy chair, you can find me enjoying time outdoors with my wife and our two children, cooking and baking new recipes, watching sports, getting lost in the latest novel on my reading list or connecting with friends. These moments of connection and joy are an important part of my life and grounding for me, both personally and professionally.
